The bacon wrapped shrimp appetizer was very good. For dinner, I had the house mixed green salad with chicken, the spring mix vegetables were fresh and crisp. My dinner guest had fried shrimp and fried oysters which were great, cooked just right. It's definitely a restaurant we will be returning to for good food.
1st time here today. Met the owner Steve. Who also is the chef. This place is clean and modern. Service was great, I had the Red Fish with crawfish and dirty rice. Ordered the bodine sausage appetizer. It was wonderful! My wife had the Chicken and sausage gumbo, she loved it! Definitely coming back!!
We visited on Wednesday which is ribeye steak night. A ribeye dinner with green beans and mashed potatoes is 25 which is well worth the price. Both steaks (medium and medium rare) were cooked to perfection.
We had the pleasure of meeting Brenda tonight. She made us feel very welcome. The service today was on point! The red fish was outstanding!! This family owned & operated restaurant is a must try if you haven't yet! We can't wait to go back!
[May 2025 update: we're weekly regulars because this is such a fun place with amazing food and service from all the young servers such as Max, Blair, Kyle, and the whole crew. My husband and I have been coming here weekly for months and absolutely love this little place. Smiling young servers like Sophia (a sweetheart!) make this a special spot where you truly feel like a welcome customer. The food is excellent, the menu extensive. Some items like the fish tacos and homemade chicken and dumplings are so good that it's hard to branch out, but you should: you'll be rewarded with huge fresh salads and homemade chicken pot pie. Be sure to save room for dessert, especially rich chocolate cake. Will we go back? We're warming up the car right now. :)
Very yummy and attentive waiter. We went for Valentine’s Day after seeing them on Pearland Eats! We had the bacon wrapped shrimp for an appetizer, filet mignon & the Cajun ribeye for our entree, and beignets for dessert. It’s not something we usually would try but we gave it a shot. I would definitely return!
Chef Steve and staff were very responsive & did an excellent job hosting our group of 19 for a wedding dinner. They made our experience a perfect and relaxing gathering. The food was wonderful, wonderful!!
